So December is here! Where has the time gone really!?

We started out the month with a trip to Pampa where my brother lives to see the Nutcracker. My niece Bailey has been in the Nutcracker since she was 5 and she is 15! She is an amazing dancer! Brittlee sat next to my Mom and leaned over during one of the scenes and said "I think I might cry". She loved it and sat for 2 hours without hardly moving. Braydon on the other hand as you might have guessed was done at intermission. 2 hours of ballet and no speaking characters was just too much for him. We had a great time and did a little bowling, my brother is a lot of fun. I was incredibly impressed with the kids on the drive to and from, they were perfect. That is a big change for Braydon, he doesn't like to sit still and he really doesn't like it when he is straped in a car seat for almost 5 hours. We took my other niece Carson with us and she was a huge help, she always is and super sweet. She takes good care of Brittlee and Braydon and they adore her!

We are ready for Christmas! Memaw, Britt and Braydon got the tree up right after Thanksgiving. There are now presents under the tree and Brittlee can hardly stand to look at them. She is very excited for Christmas to get here and for Christmas break to be here. We get out of school on December 17 and we are all excited to have some down time. Braydon LOVES THE LIGHTS!!

Britt is still cheering and has a competition this weekend in Garland. Both of the kids are growing and changing. I have noticed lately that Braydon really enjoys Brittlee and loves when she takes time to get down on the floor and play with his trucks with him. She enjoys him as well but he doesn't "mind" her the way she would like :0)

Britt is doing really well in school, she started a little behind but has made her way and caught right up. She is reading level 1 books, I love listening to her and seeing how much pride she takes in reading to Braydon and I.

Braydon is potty trained!! Ahhh the freedom! He only wears a diaper at night, and I'm not sure he even needs that anymore.

We are a blessed family and have so much to be grateful for, especially our health!!!

This year I have a prayer request... A dear friend/neighbor Kelly Box is battling brain cancer. He is a wonderful Christian man and took care of my family at a really rough time in our lives. He is a blessing to this earth. Please pray for God's healing, His will and peace and strength for him and his family. God has a plan for all of us and I'm learning more everyday how his timing is perfect. Remember the reason for this season!! Love, Sara
