I was looking back over our blog and I love that so many of my thoughts about the kids and their growth are documented so I'm going back to blogging. I started one in August but never posted it...

(A summary of our summer... Britt took a trip with Deni to Wy. and had a great time. She really loved spending time with everyone and just having some big girl time! Braydon wasn't the natural water baby I thought he'd be but he has now warmed up to the water and loves it. He's still gaurded and as with everything else, it must be his idea. Both of them are growing and changing so much! And now its AUGUST... the AUGUST that Brittlee starts KINDERGARDEN!!! I can't believe it! She has grown into such a fun and caring little girl... excuse me "Big" girl. I've thought about this day for a long time and its here. I'm very thankful that I was able to get on with her school district at Tidwell Middle school and she will be attending Hughes Elementary just down the road from me. God's timing absolutley made that posssible so that I can be as involved with her Kinder year as much as I want. I ran into a friend the other day who asked me excitedly about Britt starting school and I cried, out of now where just balling! It's such a mile stone in her life, the begining of her education. I can't wait to see her learn and grow even more. Last Sunday she moved from the nursery school at church to Children's church.. again I cried, I can still remember the dress she wore on her first Sunday. Pink with baby chicks lining the bottom. )

For some reason I don't have a first day of school picture on my computer. Britt started school in August and is loving it! Braydon is still with Traci and he seems to be doing just fine without his big sister although he is very happy to see her at the end of the day. I'm loving working at Tidwell Middle School, couldn't be happier here! Britt is involved in competition cheer, the picture above is at the new Cowboy's stadium; Its an amazing place. Her team won first in the Tiny division at this competition, we are so proud of her! As you can see this year we went "Trunk or Treating" at our church with Thomas the Train and Supergirl. Both of my kids are TOTAL candy junkies so they loved it.

Braydon is happy and growing, he seems to always get hurt, probably because he goes 9o miles an hour and head first all of the time! He is talking up a storm and when you listen closely you can understand it all. Britt is learning so much and growing socially. I'd say they both are doing really well, and as always keep me laughing. The Holidays are basically here! Britt told me this morning that she has only "2 wake-ups" left before the Thanksgiving break. We get out a full week and are SOO ready for it. The kids are thinking about what they are going to ask for from Santa but more than that they are ready to put up the Christmas tree. We will probably start on that the day after Thanksgiving.

We are again Thankful this year for our family and friends, blessed to be surrounded by so many who love us. And I am so very Thankful for 2 beautiful, healthy, happy kids!
