Fall is finally here! I haven't posted in a while... where to begin!?
Brittlee and Braydon are great and getting so big! Brady is home and the kids are very happy to have him to follow around! He's been to some Rodeo's around here and done well while he waits for January. A whole new start at the '10 Rodeo season.
Braydon is funny, and a handful! He is wiry, full of energy.. what is it? Frogs, snails and puppy dog tails. He loves to be outside, there is no where he'd rather be and he escapes from the house too often, and his bed, really anywhere. He must have his boots on while stomping around and spitting everywhere. Braydon thinks he must spit, in the house or outside... the other day Brady was at the barn and said Braydon stomped out to join him, climbed to the top rail of the fence spit over it and climbed back down. Can't you just see him!? He has smashed his cowboy hat down but it still stays on his head and he loves it just like that. Don't leave a hat or pair of boots lieing around because they will become his. Just about the only things that he says regularly are MINE and MOM. He likes to get in the pen with our goat and get it to chase him, then he jumps on the fence like a clown, he thinks he is a bull (goat) fighter. I wonder where he gets it?!
And his sister! He loves her but there are lots of fights. He can hold his own and the fights don't always end in her favor, she may be bigger but he is FEISTY!
Brittlee is just growing too fast. Brady has really been working with her on her riding; She is doing really well and loves it. She's had a couple of falls but we are proud to say that she isn't scared and jumps back in the saddle. She has such an imagination and always has a boy friend around. I separated those two words on purpose. We have to remind her that she's 4 and really doesn't have a boyfriend. Geez! Boy crazy already! Although her favorite is still Cotter and he is our 18 year old cousin so I think we are safe for now :-) She is such a sweet little girl and now having Braydon I think we appreciate her calmness so much more! Not that she can't be a wild, screaming girl because she has got that down too. At the moment our delima is what she will be for Halloween, who knew it would be such a BIG decision!?! As is getting dressed, picking shoes and fixing her hair! She is such a girly girl but so not. She loves to get dirty as long as she can do it with just the right JEANS and shirt on.. oh and BOOTS, pink ones! or at the very least pink tops! She hates to wear her hair up or even pulled back. Most all of you know she has GREAT hair and its long and always tangled. She says "I like the wind to blow around my hair Mom" and she doesn't like going to Traci's(the sitter)simply because "She makes me fix my hair everyday Mom!" If only we all had such problems HA!
This month I turned 29 and Brady 28, WOW. I don't' even want to think about next year! But the fun is just beginning! Right!?
We are thankful, so very, very thankful for our family, friends, two happy and healthy kids and our FAITH! Where would we be without our faith!?
Happy Fall Ya'll!
