July!

Normally we take a trip to Buffalo WY each summer for a week. This summer we had planned to do the same but unfortunately it didn't work out. Brady has been on the rodeo trail all summer and hadn't seen the kids in a month. SOOO we decided that he probably needed to see us. The kids and I packed up and flew to Boise ID. We stayed in Nampa just outside of Boise for most of the week, the kids loved being with Brady and "Camping" in the trailer. Thankfully the Martin's have provided us with a super nice "Tent" trailer! We all went to the water park in Nampa one day and Britt took her Dad on all the rides. Brady had to leave us on another day to rope at Salinas so we headed back to the water park again with a few other rodeo families and had a ball!! It was really a fun trip and we got some much needed time with Brady! Brady ended up 6th in the Ave. at Nampa! Good job Brady!! We headed to Ogden on Sat night to rope Sun. am and then to Salt Lake to drop us at the airport. I'll just say there were LOTS of tears shed at the airport! And no I am not talking about the people who realised that they would be sitting with me and my two kids ;-) Thankfully the kids did great on the plane and we were seated near very patient, very helpful passengers!! In all we spent a week out there and I want to say that Rodeo families deserve a lot of credit. It's hard work, but they do it so well and as if it's easy.
Brady hasn't had a lot of luck this summer but we know it's bound to turn around for him. God is good and he continues to provide and guide our family. We are thankful for our family and friends who lend us so much support! For PPC Martin Allen - Brady's backers and there continued support of him. I started a new job and love it! Again God lead me to it. Happy Summer.... P.S. Can you believe this time next year we will be getting our little Britt prepared to start Kindergarten...TEARS TEARS! Time is flying by!
