(Braydon's Birthday Tractor! And no, those aren't gang signs, that's telling us he's 2!! Notice Britt in her tank top and shorts with wet hair, it's 27 outside but she is a summer girl through and through!!)
It snowed again in TEXAS! Not just a little dusting or icy roads but a real 12 inches of beautiful snow. We even had a real snow day, no work, just time to play in the snow and be at home. Although I realised that I am just not a home body and by 2 o'clock was ready to get out of the house.
Brady, the kids and I built a snow man, and he lasted 2 days, I think that is a record for TX. Except that his head was knocked off by the wind, but he did not melt. Braydon enjoyed the snow for about 20 minutes and then he was sick of it, Britt couldn't get enough of it. It was lots of fun but we are thankful it was a "snow event" and not a normal occurrence. Now everything is a muddy mess but the sun is out today YAY!! We've missed it!
Our baby boy turned 2! Bradyon is talking up a storm, most of which is not in English but I have a feeling soon enough it will be, and we are going to hear a lot of it! He is such a lover, he loves to give kisses; everything is kind of rough with him though. You might lean in for a kiss and get a head butt as well. He is all boy, rough and tumble but super lovable and totally affectionate. I feel very blessed to be his mother, I remember seeing his little face for the first time and wondering what it would be like in the years to come, well its wonderful! Brady and I are so thankful for both of our healthy kids! Britt is growing, she'll be 5 next month.. we can't believe it!
It's sort of sad for me, I miss my tiny babies and they were both such good babies I don't have horror stories from their newborn days. We are a complete family of 4 and I wouldn't want it any other way but man they grow fast. It makes me happy to see them learn and grow into little people, everyday it seems they do or say something new. I'm just a sap I guess but I could cry a river when I think of how time flies! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our babies! They are the JOY of our lives. Children are a blessing from God.
