The Kids and I had a wonderful Easter weekend! Saturday we went to my Brother Shay's and had Easter with my fam and then on Sunday we went to Brandee's for Easter with the Brock's. Brady is in California so he missed it but we sent him pictures and talked to him a lot. He hasn't had much luck so far, so if you get a chance say a little prayer that it will turn around.
At Carrie and Shay's the Easter bunny joined us and as you can tell Braydon was not impressed! I should have videoed the actual meeting because it was hilarious, his scream was heard for miles :-) We enjoyed a beautiful day with lots of family and friends complete with a goat scramble! My brother raises goats so the kids got a big kick out of it and the winner found that the ribbon had money attached! After a long day we took naps and then headed to church. Sunday at Brandee's we had lots of fun as well! Hayden and Britt hunted all over for TONS of eggs. Brandee is bottle feeding a calf named Patty (Born on Saint Patrick’s Day). After the hunt she got her out and the kids played with her, Braydon even rode her but was quickly bucked off :-) Her super cute mud boots had to make the blog, she and Pete are the cutest couple!
Braydon didn't care much for the hunt, he would leave his basket behind and take off after an egg, empty it leaving the candy on the ground and take off with the plastic egg. Britt on the other had was a pro at hunting, even following behind Hayden as his heaping basket over flowed so she could get those he dropped!
It was really a fun weekend, we are blessed to have such wonderful friends and family who love us!
