I took off this past Friday and yesterday too for my 28th Birthday! It was great to have time with the kids and our Mom's. Friday Deni took me to Christmas in Cowtown which was really fun and then yesterday my Mom took me shopping for fall clothes. I am so thankful that I love both of our Mother's!! Not only are they really good to my children they are wonderful to me. Both shopping trips we took both kids. I'm not going to say that it wasn't good to spend time with the kids too but each trip made me more thankful for our Mother's and also made me realise that being a Mom is hard work. Enjoyable but hard too. Braydon is teething and really wasn't himself and Britt had been sick and wasn't really herself... We made a full day both days. Deni and my Mom were so good to let me shop and watch the kids! Thank you both!!
I'm now 28 and have 2 kids, I never really thought I would have 2 kids much less 2 before I was 30! I love being a Mom and I live for rocking them to sleep and watching them sleep, all of their new/first victories and I love it that I am their Mother. I am blessed to have 2 healthy and happy children and they are blessed to have such involved grandparents as I am SUPER thankful for them !!! They very well could have sent me a card and called it good but instead both decided to take a day to spend with me and to tell me that I was a good mother, drag me & my two children around and tell me over and over that we were no trouble... all the while I know they were tired and their backs were aching :-) My best birthday gifts were being born to my Mother and loved by Brady's Mom as her own.
